NEW STANDARDS, TRAVEL SAFE! *

In order to secure the most important value we have - our health, and in accordance to the official Health Protocol announced by the Greek Government on 3rd of June 2020, this summer, guests will experience their vacation somewhat differently, but at the same time, without taking away anything from the essence. Everything is in place and we are ready to deliver on our promise.

Therefore, during our guests’ stay at hotels, some services will be provided in a different way and we highlight the most important as follows:

ONLINE CHECK-IN
In many hotels you can check in online using the hotel website or using your smartphone. Check-in is therefore largely contactless.

CHECK-IN HOURS
According to Health Protocols by the Greek Government, new check-in/out hours set to:
Check-in after 15:00
Check-out before 11:00

DISTANCE RULE
All employees in the public areas of the hotel are obliged to keep a distance of 1.5 to 2 meters from each other and from the guests. Tables in the restaurant are only cleaned when the guest is not at the table.

HOTEL STAFF
The hotel staff is trained to effectively prevent possible infection cases at the hotel.

RESTAURANT
The capacities in the hotel restaurants will be reduced or the serving area will be extended. Tables are set up with a minimum distance of 1.5 meters.

EXTENSION OF OPENING HOURS
In order to offer all guests sufficient space, it is recommended the opening times of the restaurants to be expanded. Many hotels will follow this recommendation.

ENTERTAINMENT AND ACTIVITIES
Only events, sports and entertainment with a small number of participants and without close contact are carried out. Golf or tennis, for example, can take place, but not a soccer tournament. The spa offer will be adapted, and childcare will be aligned to new standards in accordance with the requirements of the Greek Government’s Health Protocols.

EXPANSION OF DISINFECTANT DISPENSERS
The number of disinfection dispensers in the hotel is increased significantly, so that guests and employees can disinfect their hands at all important contact points. This includes, for example, all places where food and drinks are offered, sports facilities and the lobby area.

HOUSEKEEPING
All rooms are cleaned with special cleaning equipment and material that also eliminate potential Covid-19 viruses before the arrival of new guests. Particular attention is paid to cleaning areas in the bathroom, bedside tables, or devices for daily needs such as the remote control of the TV set.

LESS SELF-SERVICE
Wherever possible, staff serve food and drinks to guests. Self-service offers such as buffets are recommended to be used less. Protective masks are required for the staff.

NOT AVAILABLE SERVICES
Depending on hotel, some services in the season 2020 will be totally removed or significantly adjusted to the new standards

It is up to hotels solely discretion to follow stricter measures or to follow recommendations, such as, indicative and not exclusive, to extend the opening hours of the restaurants or opening of the spa.
