We invite you to take a trip around Corfu, which includes a visit to the house of Durrell, a well-known naturalist writer, author of the book “My Family and Other Animals”. It was in this White House, located in Kalami, that the events described in the novel took place.

Kassiopi is one of the most popular resorts on the Kerkyra island. Kassiopi lies 35 km from the island's capital, the city of Kerkyra, on the northeast coast. The coastline of Kassiopi is a rugged white cliff called “teeth” washed by the sea. In ancient times, Kassiopi was a fishing village, and still in the port you can see many beautifully painted fishing schooners. In addition, picturesque bays and beaches are located.

Pandocrator is a mountain whose height reaches 906 meters above sea level. It is the highest peak on the island of Corfu. It rises in the north-eastern part of the island. From the top of the mountain is visible not only the whole island of Corfu, but also neighboring Albania. On the clearest days from here you can even see Italy, which lies 130 km. A narrow road with numerous sharp turns leads to the peak, at the top there is a cafe, telecommunication station and monastery. The first monastery on this site was built in 1347 and destroyed around 1537. The present Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord that exists here was founded in 1689, and its facade dates from the 19th century.
