As we are getting into high season again, we would like to take the opportunity to provide you with an update on the current beach development. The work consisting of sand moving and piling adjacent to Nakheel’s office operation on the Fairmont North Residences side has been completed at the end of last year as per schedule. The pavement of boardwalk is due to start imminently and as such, our private beach and its access have been slightly narrowed whilst it continues to comfortably accommodate a few hundred sunbeds with views of the Dubai Marina Skyline and Arabian Sea. The work will mainly consist of minor digging to place pipes and the laying of wooden planks with no heavy machinery involved. The anticipated end date of this new phase is still scheduled for the end of April 2018 although development works will continue to the north and south sides of the resort as the project evolves towards its final completion, with some visual and acoustic disturbance. As a result of this, the landscaped partitions covered with plants and trees in between the beach and pools will remain in place until further notice to ensure privacy for the guests and the views from the swimming pools will continue to be restricted. All sea facing rooms and suites still feature unobstructed views of the Arabian Sea and Dubai Marina Skyline although the development works are visible from the balcony areas. The resort continues to operate as normal with high level of occupancy and all leisure facilities remain available to our mutual valued customers.
