The rich excursion program of the first day will not leave indifferent all those who are interested in the ancient history and mythology of Greece. We will go up to the majestic Olympus by bus, where at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level you will hear a fascinating story about the pantheon of Greek gods and enjoy the magical beauty of the Olympic Ridge and the Aegean Sea.

Vergina is the first capital of ancient Macedonia, which, according to legend, was founded by Karan and named Eges. The flourishing of this city falls on the 5th-4th centuries. BC. In 1977, Vergina became widely known when, during archaeological excavations, the tomb of Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great, was discovered. Inside the marble sarcophagus of Philip II was found a golden casket with the remains of the murdered king, a golden royal crown and other items of great interest from a cultural and historical point of view.

The end of the day will be meeting the sunset with a view of the Meteora monasteries soaring in the air in the village of Kalambaka.
On the second day, you will have an excursion to the monasteries of Meteora. "Meteora" translated from Greek means "soaring in the air." This word denotes a complex of monasteries (included in the UNESCO heritage list) and hermitages, which, in fact, almost soar in the sky. Erected at an altitude of 300-600 meters, on rocky peaks of striking beauty that are found in the spurs of Mount Pindos in Thessaly, they seem to look across the valley of the Piños River at the vastness of ancient Hellas.

Until 1920, rare visitors had to either climb here on shaky and unreliable ladders with a height of 30 m, or even more (these ladders were dragged up at the slightest danger), or even climb on a rope, swinging at a dizzying height in a rope net. Now the monasteries can be reached by serpentine steps carved into the rocks.
