Kerkyra city and surroundings - one day pilgrimage (1-16 pax)

The day will start with a prayer for the Divine Liturgy in the church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous, where after the service it will be possible to venerate his miraculous multi-healing relics.

Then we will go for a walk around the old city. We will visit the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, where particles of his holy relics, the relics of St. Lazarus the Four-Day, Great Martyr Panteleimon, and also one of the largest parts of the Cross of the Lord. In this temple, the famous native of the island of Corfu, Count Ioannis Kapodistrias, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire under Alexander I, was baptized.

After that, we will go to the temple of the blessed Queen Theodora, where we bow to her holy relics. The next place of pilgrimage is the ancient church of St. Anthony the Great, here before the adoption of the episcopal office, Saint Mark of Ephesus served, known for being the only one at the Florence Cathedral who stood in the truth and did not accept the union. 

Next, we'll make a pilgrimage to the church of St. John the Baptist, who has  mysterious connection with Russia.  Russian sailors of the flotilla of Admiral Ushakov are buried here. In addition, Nikifor Theotokis (Θεοτόκης), who later became Archbishop of Astrakhan, served as a priest here, and he was buried in the Holy Danilov Monastery in Moscow.

The next place of pilgrimage is the Church of the Mother of God of Aliens, so named because it was the parish of non-native inhabitants of Corfu, it houses the eponymous miraculous icon of the Mother of God. Next we go to the church of St. Eleutherius, where the relics of the martyr Jacob Persianin (Ιάκωβος ο Πέρσης) and Catherine the Great Martyr are stored.

• for your comfort on an excursion, wear comfortable shoes;
• visiting holy places provides a certain form of clothing: for men, long trousers and covered shoulders; for women - a skirt below the knee, covered line of the neckline and shoulders;
• excursion program can be changed in case of force majeure circumstances, weather conditions or at the discretion of the guide;
• duration: half a day.
